Im very pissed off now so i apologise for any profany that might be in this post. Im sick of so many people in this hobby right now and im thinking to maybe quit this hobby. I have deleted 98% of my videos on youtube now. Years of material that i used to go back and watch my own progress in this hobby. From my first lift ever to now. Why? I was stupid enough to think i could post a crashvideo that involving a huge mistage from my side. Yes i refer to that dangerous crashvideo i posted yesterday. I have recived many hate messages where i have been told im a idiot and a psyckopath that should die etc etc. It have been started a topic on the crash on a swedish forum to. Wtf is up with that? I almost never get any comment on my videos, just a few and i have very few vievs. But then i post this video and this happens?! Wtf is wrong with people are they really so big wankers? People must feel joy to do this kind of things because why cant people post on videos where it is a good flight to? I guess that is not of interest. And it seems alot of people find joy when something bad happens for someone else. <censored> it im just so sick of it now.

Don't let it get to u bruh... As far as the crash... It happens... Whether it be a mistake or a mechanical failure.. Whatever.. It happens... As far as others commenting... I stayed off helifreak for awhile due to things like that.. That site is better now tho.. But ultimately that's why I love this site & it's members.. We will ask ?s & give each other crap from time to time in a joking manner.. But I believe all here lean, learn, & feed on one another in a progressive manner to which we can grow and expand our rc endeavors.... Yadayadayada... Don't let it get to u... If u feel an error was made on ur part.. Learn from it... If u feel it's a mechanical/electrical issue.. Find & fix it... If u love to fly.... FLY.. Screw what others think.. Sometimes I'd like to hear some feedback/comments on my vids/pics that I don't always recieve either... But I don't fly to hear/read comments.. Positive or negative.. I fly for me.. Cause I love it!.. Stick with it.. Stick around here at the Hangout.. Do the damn thing!

Just relax, my friend! There are a lot of "haters" out there in Youtube-land. It's just the nature of the beast. There are many people out there that are just so quick to criticize the bad videos and they rarely comment on the successful videos. I get that all the time.

The reality of the situation is this....I've been one of your subscribers for a LONG time. I've seen many successful flights on your channel. I've commented on many of your videos. I know that you are a safe and successful heli pilot. You just had a bad day yesterday. Yes, it was a scary moment but no one got hurt and the only damage was to the helicopter.

So...here is my suggestion to you. Completely and totally ignore those negative people. You aren't in this hobby to please them. Just move on. Get your helicopter repaired and put it back in the air. Keep on flying because it's something that you enjoy. Keep on having fun.

I'm sure you'll do just fine!

I feel better now. Thanks all for your good words. I uselly dont pay attention to bad comments but this time i just feeled frustrated because i feel i have had so great flights latelly and then this and i got alot of problems becous of that. It is many factors. I regrett i deleted most of my videos but well i will see this as a fresh start on a new era. And Darek i will build up new videos. my 700 is repaired now i only have to get my new gyro for it.

That's really great to hear! We all have our "ups and downs". We'll just consider this one of your downs and unfortunately the "down" moments do happen. On the other hand, as I said above, you've had many many other "up" flight videos that demonstrated safe and entertaining flights. Keep your chin up and don't worry about they "haters"....just let them hate because that's all they strive to do. You are a better man than them and a fantastic pilot. I hope you get your new gyro soon and I hope to see your 700 and 450 back in the air!!!

You can turn off comments on your youtube vids. If you get too much negative attention on one, just switch off the comments for that video.

I unfortunately didn't get to see the video in question. I saw the other thread but ended up reading this one first.

Keep in mind, you get a lot of wannabe fliers and whatnot on youtube. And a lot of people that don't fly at all. Yet they just love to comment on the crash vids.

I hope you get back into a good frame of mind on all this and post things back up. Hopefully you didn't actually delete anything and just make them private vids, that way you can make them public again if you wish without having to reupload things.

Chin up. We all have bad crashes and "oh shit" moments. I had two very scary moments with helicopters so far. One with the TRex 700 in my back yard and one with the Blade 550X at my club field. I'll give the short versions just so you know you're not the only one...

TRex 700: Was testing out "Extreme 3D" mode on the Ikon, or whatever the mode is called. First time. I was doing some stationary rolls and it was drifting a bit backward toward me while I was doing one of the rolls. I sticked in some "correction" that was incorrect for while it was inverted and it came at me even faster. By the time I had it righted the thing was nose in toward me, heading overhead toward a pine tree. I hit throttle hold and hoped for the best. Landed 20 ft behind me in the neighbor's yard. Luckily no one was over there and it went into the open area instead of toward his barn. And luckily it didn't hit the pine tree or else it likely would have fallen out of the sky right on top of me. Since then I've only flown the 700 size helis in my sizeable back yard a couple times just for some test flights. And even doing just that, I still crashed it once more not too long ago. Just too big of a machine for the area.

550X: This was the real scary one. I was doing some of my first real life half piro flips. Lets set the scene: Fence with tables lining it. Flight station 10-15ft away from the tables, then wide open space for the flight range. Two other people at the field with me at tables somewhere. I had the heli 30-40 ft out away from me and 50ish feet up. Plenty of safety space, or so I thought. So I do a couple half piro flips and they're looking good. They're wandering, but you can tell what they are. I recenter and setup for another. Start it moving and something goes wrong and its inverted and coming toward me, not clear on the orientation except it is inverted. Realizing I'm unsure how to correct it, I hit throttle hold. It is coming at me kind of quick and I manage to get it upright and nose out, but by now I've killed off all the head speed. With it coming toward me and the tables behind me, I decide it is too late to try to do a auto-rotation bailout. It is ballistic at this point. Rotor's still spinning but too slow to have any control. IT ends up landing between me and the table behind me and to the right. Luckily no one was there at that table or else they would have ended up either being hit or having jumped over the fence to avoid the heli hitting them.

And, just this past Tuesday I was flying at the club with that TRex 700. Coming in toward myself at a good clip, tail in, executing a big backward loop. On the upswing the tail blows out! IT is pretty much directly over my head. I go to zero pitch and maneuver it into upright orientation and seeing it is heading nose right, I turn my body to get in the tail-in orientation and fly it away. Scary moment though, whenever the heli gets directly over head like that.

Helis are dangerous. WE take precautions and do our best to fly inside our abilities and the abilities of the equipment, but sometimes things go wrong. Learn from it and move on. If people are giving you undue grief online, let it roll off your back or take away their soapbox. But don't let it get you down.

I hope you decide to put it and your other vids back up. And certainly we want you to keep on being a part of our community here.

Wow, you can't jack in a hobby because of one crash mate. The biggest thing you need to do is LEARN from it... That field is obviously a no go until they change it around, so if it was me, I'd fly somewhere else for now... Do what Paul said and turn off the comments, don't go destroying years of happy flying because of one crash.... I've had a few catastrophic crashes myself but I'm still here... I only fly a quad now but that's only because I can't afford a new heli...

Do NOT let the Internet get to you! Youtube and the web in general can be a horrible place. Don't mind all the haters and trolls. I saw the video, nobody got hurt, everything turned out fine, and this could have happened to anyone (and probably has, but we just don't hear about it).

Toss the old gyro, install the new one, get out there flying and forget all the morons on the web.

Im back in action I had a break down a few days but now i feel good again. Except i did infact delete every video. I have reuploaded a few and just now a brand new 450 flights is under upload. Thank you all for the help.
