Just spent the last 14 days doing some army stuff. I spent 4 days learning advanced buddy first aid. Things like neddle decompression and other blood stopping techniques.

From there I went to camp perry, the home of the NRA national championships. Our mission was to get qualified on our M16s or AR15 for the civilians. We also competed in a rifle and pistol match which took place at the same time. Our instructors were from the Army reserve Marksman Unit. These guys compete around the world. My instructor is a Presidents 100 award winner.

We closed out with a 24 hour training evolution which I did not want to do. I don't like doing paintballing and that's what we did but using military tactics. I ended up with poison ivy and 3 blood welts. Not really enjoyable. Anyhow I got a few days off till I start working next week. Now I need to get caught up.

The shooting was the best part. The days were long and hard. Really exhausting.

You'll find that paint balling comes in really hand when decorating the house. Just stand in the centre of a room then
let rip, instant rainbow effect lol. Are you a GI or a specialist? I always specialized in duckin and divin. I became an expert at that lol
Welcome back my friend.

Nice one Uri:) I love shooting, not done much in the last 20 years, but not blowing my own trumpet , I am good:) Still would give most a run for my money :) Nothing better than hitting what you're aiming for and close grouping :)

500 meters iron sights is where its at. I love long range shooting because of the skill needed to do it. I did alright for a person who only shoots once a year if I am lucky. Over all I placed 49th out of 80 shooters. I ended up rushing a bunch of shots so my shot groups were fairly larger than what they should have been.
