Got some new yellow cases on the way... I'm kinda excited.. Lol, y I don't kno.. It's just a box. But.. I've ordered three cases to replace my current rig for my transmitter, packs, & charging rig. This means a new build thread for the charging rig is soon to follow! The cheapo cases I have been using from Harbor Frieght have been great.. And still worth continued use.. However, the bottom panel on the one for my charging rig has separated partly from its mounting position along with the rubber feet coming off, couple other things I've noticed too.. Normal wear & tear I suppose, but also, if u recall my trip to Heli Extravaganza.. It was a very wet fun fly to say the least. Plus.. With Levar's gear & mine.. Space was limited inside the truck so all items except the birds had to go in the back of my truck.. Raining the entire time! Having said all that I wanted a weather proof case for my stuff. I found several places to get good cases.. Top of the list is Pelican.. On the high side, but rated the best. I found good deals via Amazon & EBay. Another good case with a lot less expense is found at http://www.mcmelectronics.com/content/e ... roof-cases... Saw a lot of these around lately.. Only seen them in black tho.. Anyhow... I'll post up some pics once they arrive & give my thoughts.

Yeah I am looking at options for cases. The vcontrol bag is overly priced for what it is. I would like a hard case for packs and radio myself. I may have to get the dx6 in there also. Let us know what sizes you got and how they work for the radio. Interested greatly.

Ok, got the 2 larger 1500 cases in today.. I dig'm! The hinge locks so when u have it open, it won't fall shut with wind or by being bumped. The latches have a lever lock kinda mechanism, water proof(main reason for purchase), best quality foam of any case I've owned before, automatic one way pressure release valve... Let's air out, no water in, very rigid & strong.. One of these is for pack storage & travel, the other is for a new charging rig.. Gonna be a while before I start to build it.. But gathering parts now. I do have a smaller case that's should be here Monday or Tuesday that will be used for my TX.. Here are some pics of old vs new. Awesomeness!

Perfect! Might could have went with the 1550 case for a tad more room, but this fits all my large packs fine without them moving around inside... 3 5000mah & 1 4500mah 12S stick packs on trays with a 3600mah 2S RX pack to each, 3 5000mah 6S, 1 5500mah 6S, & 2 3600mah 2S RX packs. SCORE!

The molded feet interlock so u can stack them without them just sliding off one another... Matthias, there is something like 50 different sizes to choose from.. Yeah, these things rock! And the next time rain hits while I'm out, I can leave these in the back of the truck without worry.

they are very nice cases. i could do with something like that for my quad stuff.

I know there are a lot of sizes, just don't know what size right now. I have lots of measuring to do.

Can be... eBay... Got both of thes for $145... The 1450 case to come cost $75. Shop around u can find good deals.

Nice. Have always wanted to get some high quality cases like these, but I cheap out on them. I tend the be careful with my stuff and don't travel more than a couple hours away by car. Perhaps one day.

Thanks.. The case surface is not flat.. Textured surface didn't allow the stickers to stay on... Gonna stencils something on them.
