My wife and I went and saw Star Wars Saturday night. I dunno if my expectations were too high but I didn't really enjoy it as much as I thought I would. It was good, don't get me wrong, but I just didn't enjoy it. On the other hand, perhaps it's just one of those movies that I need to see again to appreciate it. There have been a few movies that I didn't really enjoy when I saw it the first time but then I greatly enjoyed it after seeing it again.

I think Derek as gone to the dark side lol. I took my Son Darran to see the first film in 1978 i think it was and he took me to see the latest one with his Son,my Grandson. Great stuff. My claim to fame is
that I actually saw the Millennium Falcon being made. It was made in Wales, Pembroke and now I feel very, very old. Cheers guys Have a great New Year

lol, I dunno if I've gone to the dark side or not. With all this crap weather, it's just difficult to tell, ha ha ha. I'll wait til the movie is available on DVD/blueray and I'll purchase it and watch it again. Perhaps there was just something I missed. I surely won't give up on it because I really do enjoy the other Star Wars movies.

Don't worry Derek! You haven't gone to the dark side yet

I wasn't to impressed myself

. Good but not impressed

also Jurassic world either.

Not for all the hoop-La

That's just my opinion. I guess you can make room for me on the dark side Derek.

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. Stay safe

Haven't seen either but Jacob is sick at the moment, has been for a few days so we did a Starwars marathon and watched the previous 6 over 2 days.

Yeah he's fine now thanks.
I was a bit worried with his temperature and he started getting all spotty so I took him to after hours doc and they said give him some junior panadol and he'll be fine. And he is.

We going snorkeling tomorrow at a marine reserve near me.

This Movie is based on two different story lines that were kind of combined. On one hand you have the Luke Skywalker that converted to the dark side and went into seclusion. On the other hand you have the Luke that started the New Jedi Order. You really need to read the books following episode 6 to really understand what took place in the 30+ year gap.
Saw it opening weekend with the kids, loved it.
