Well I have been toying with the idea for getting my Pfaw cert for a while but held off, but at the drone show yesterday got some really good info and have decided to do it in the new year.

But to get me started I went and bought a photo ship while I was up there......

And before you give me grief no its not a DJI.

Heard not good things on Drones direct,

Bought mine at the drone show on Sunday and got 10% off so it was a good bit cheaper than the early release price of £1099 all be it that RRP is now £999.

Just got to get a second or more batteries now,

Done a good bit of reading and watching youtube videos on the tx and the bird and think once the weather is not so bad down here I shall give it a shot with it, not in a rush to get this bird in the air TBH I just want a nice calm day for first flight.

Drones Direct getting bad publicity , I spoke to the guy and seems genuine enough.
Take a look at the mod on the antenna I am doing:)
If it's as stable as the DJI you can use it in reasonable winds.

I got the prior generation Yuneec 500 size 4K. Very stable in flight. The video uplink is too short range for my liking, but I believe they remedied that on this new H6 model.

Yeah mate they recon over 1k easy for range, but for 120$ you can get a good set of antenna that will triple that, but 1k for me will be more than enough.

hoping to get it in the air today so may have a few pics and some video to show later, dependant on the fog to be honest.

Nice video Kev:) loved the Welsh sheep poop at the end:) Very clear:) I catch mine rather than landing it as it is safe and easy. Seen too many horror videos of landings with side winds:)

Thanks mate, yeah I see a lot of videos of people hand landing, just at a 500mm hex I value my arms and such, although people do catch the typhoon.
