I thought this forum died? Last I heard there were some issues and it was going bye bye. Guess I heard wrong. I still am in contact with some of you either on facebook or another forum I won't mention here.

I received an email a few days ago saying I had a private message from RC-Hangout but when I connected there was no message.

Someone please tell me what the heck is going on?? A private message is fine... I'm way behind posting now since I see the site is still functioning. Says I haven't been online since Nov 8, 2015, damn!!!

yeah, this forum is still around. I see that we still get the occasional new member but no one new ever talks unless it's someone just coming to spam the forum or PM's, which is likely what you got.

Sorryif that was the impression you got. There was some concern around that time about the domain, but that got settled in a weeks time or so. Another minor dust up half a year after that. Been quiet since then. We've picked up a handful or two of people since nov 2015, but Derek is right, most new accounts these days are spammers. We've put in measures to block their posting publicly on the forums, but sometimes they manage a PM or email to the admins.

Things have gone in a pretty strong "drone" direction here as far as interests go. There's still some heli posts now and then. Some car stuff pops up here and there. Derek's dad is still building and driving his custom build boats (great build threads, if you're interested). But most of the activity is with quads, FPV, and quad racing.

I still haven't gave up on my helis I have a couple of quads, which are fun to zip around the house here and there but theirs nothing like having the pure power and sound of a heli makes when taking off and performing stunts. Quads are fun but helis is where it's at, just my opinion https://youtu.be/lIKR-ldyWnw

Hi Ken , Long time no hear:) Still going strong, and all good people on here:) would be nice if the word was spread further, however very intimate here and all good friends. Miss-information can be created to try and smoke screen others??

DOG I gave my 450pro to the guy who got me started with helis. He lost his job then had a minor stroke and can no longer work. I still have my 130x and my TRex 500. Been flying airplanes a lot, have one camera drone and recently built my first quad racer. Still afraid of the goggles. So weird flying something your not looking at. I agree nothing better then some good old blade farts when tossing a big heli around.

Graham thanks for the comment. Been wondering how you've come along. Looking at your list of birds looks like your a seasoned heli guy now. I'll get around to your post soon. 4,000 post, wow.

My job has taken a good deal of my time. Even when I'm off work the stress has been overwhelming at times. Getting more flying in recently but have two school jobs going on so moving into August is going to be rough.

I post a lot on YouTube and I'll start posting here again as well, you have all been helpful and supportive to me in the past. Hope I can be the same in return.

Did not realise i had so many posts:) WOW !! Too much alone time when you work away from home:) Got loads of helis and quads but still cant do the 3d i want to be able to:) On the sim not bad but in reality a pussy tooo scared to crash$$$$ ££££:)
