Hand catching scares the shit out of me even when done safely, but not sure I would ever want to do it with a inspire as they be a heavy big piece of kit to catch 1 handed.

First off....if the landing gear isn't coming down....just land the darn thing in the grass. The big mistake was that he went to grab the quad, instead of just letting the quad land. This was his mistake...his fault and no one to blame but himself. Now he's looking for attention from the press and the governments are all too happy to come in and try to drop these BS rules and regulations that punish those of us that are responsible and safe.
I'm sorry...I have no pity for this guy nor any other guy that does stuff like this.

43 years old. Doesn't know enough to stay away from the 4 fast rotating butterfly knives attached to the drone. And it wasn't even his drone, it was his friends. So now there's two morons, one of which would not generally be exposed to any government safety training since He DIDN'T OWN THE BLOODY THING! WTF...
