Sad Sad Times:(

Tonight i finished work at 19.00 UK time. Just got in the door and missed the phone ringing, it stopped by the time i picked it up.
I knew the number, and i knew what it was for.
For the past year my best friend Dave Bartlett has been battling two brain tumours. Tonight he lost the fight.
At 6.16 pm Dave passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Dave was a Yorkshire man. He was a coal miner, whom i had the pleasure of working under at Glensanda Quarry and BSW Timber.
Dave was a gentleman and a brilliant Engineer.
A massive part of my life has gone to another phase tonight, and a great loss to his family and friends.
A bheil an rathad ag èirigh suas gus do choinneachadh.
Bi a 'ghaoth an-còmhnaidh aig do dhruim.
Ma tha a 'ghrian a' deanamh blàth air do aghaidh;
bidh na h-uisgeachan bog air na h-achaidhean agad agus gus am bi sinn a 'coinneachadh a-rithist,
is dòcha gu bheil Dia gad chumail ann am pail a làmh
God bless you Mr, Bartlett.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand
