Ma bhios a 'ghrian blàth air do aghaidh,
Bidh na h-uisgeachan bog air na h-achaidhean agad.
Agus gus an coinnich sinn a-rithist,
Gu bheil Dia gad chumail ann am pail a làmh.
Gu robh Dia maille ribh agus a 'beannachadh leat:
Am faic thu clann do chlann.
Ma tha thu bochd ann an droch fhortan,
Rich anns na beannachdan.
Chan fhaigh thu dad ach sòlas
Bhon latha seo air adhart.
A bheil an rathad ag èirigh suas gus do choinneachadh
Bi a 'ghaoth an-còmhnaidh aig do dhruim
Ma thèid na ghathan blàth de ghrèin air do dhachaigh
Agus is dòcha gu bheil làmh caraid an-còmhnaidh faisg.
Is e glas uaine a bhith an fheur a tha thu a 'coiseachd air,
Is e gorm a bhith na speuran os a chionn,
Is e fìor ghlan a bhith na aoibhneas a tha gad chuartachadh,
Bi cinnteach gur e na cridheachan a tha gad ghràdh dhut
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
