Oversea experience :(

Post by DOG »

Hey there. My 500 was looking for a new canopy  As I was searching around, I found a seller, Bonanza, that had a canopy for $11.46 out of Thailand. Wonderful price...NOT! When my canopy arrived, it looked like this

when it's shipped in a bag :x Anyway I went ahead and did some more searching and found a canopy out of Washington state, RCAerodyne in the USA for $20.00. That canopy was shipped in a box, like it should, in 2 days :D . I did get y money back from the seller in Thailand but I'm not sure about ordering from oversea again. Well the 500 is happy with it's new look :)

If your keeping the broke one the do repairs. When you go out and try something new use the tattered canopy in case you crash. CA or epoxy and dryer sheets make great patch materials.
