Yeah, it's the same here. There's only one case ,so far by me but there's only 10 test kits for our whole county. Not good. It's just going to get worse

All our schools shut, people panic buying, self isolating going on. My village is small, we have a system in place to look after the elderly and its working. We are doing a green thumbs up sign in windows and a red thumbs down if someone needs help from shopping to meds:)
Communities coming together:)

Absolutly Graham. Our schools are shut down, store shelves are pretty much empty along with self isolation goint on here too. We just got two more cases in our county. My wife has been a prepper for a long time now. Exspecially living in Florida, The hurricane state. She's been prepping for probably around 10 yrs's... so we are pretty much set with rain barrels, to collect water, 2 gas generators and solar genrerator and gadgets. She's been canning food for as long as we have been together, 11 yrs so we have more food then Walmart, Publix and WinnDixie combinded together. We had 10 yr old meat loaf the other night, that she canned and it was wonderful. We are pretty much prepared but many aren't. BTW... what a beautiful picture you posted. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Graham, I've been taking my drone up a few times already but I don't have that beautiful sunrise or sunset like you do unless I go to the beach. I do get to record the rocket launch from Cape Canaveral which it's like 300 miles + from my side of town. The night launches are the coolest to record. It's a small view but neat to watch.

Stay Safe accross the pond. USA reported here in the UK as worst zone in the world now for Covid-19. Dont believe this as i believe China is not reporting correctly from day 1.
Hope we all make it to the other side.
I received my official paperwork to say i am a critical worker in Category 1, so my work will continue as normal. Currently i am on holiday using up my remainder of the financial year holidays, returning to work on Wednesday 01/04/2020.

Well the situation in NYC and the surrounding area is pretty bad. I'm in upstate NY in the Syracuse area, which is far less seriously affected. We have 400ish confirmed cases in this county, but it never really got a chance to take off so we're way below the dire predictions. For that matter so is NYC. As bad as the daily death totals are there, they were calling for far worse when this all kicked off 3-4 weeks ago. Even as recently as a week ago our governor was begging for 30-40k ventilators, an insane number that was never supported by any data, and completely out of the realm of possibility anyway (in the time frame).
I've been doing grocery duty for my parents and an uncle who lives in the area. Minimal contact with them or anyone else.
I'm pres at my R/C flying club and we've remained open to members during this. It's very early in the flying season here so the demand has been low. Most of the membership is old enough to be in the at risk category so they have mostly been staying away even with the the club being available for use. We have a gate so we're able to keep non-members out (normally when members are there they will leave the gate open for guests or public to come in, but we're keeping it closed even when members are present). Hand sanitizer and sanitizing spray (for tables, doors, and other contact surfaces) are provided for use. And the flying is all done along a line that's at least a few hundred feet long with plenty of space to maintain separation. Golf courses, parks, etc. are able to remain open around here and people are allowed to go out to use them for exercise, etc. So all that together, we've decided to remain open for members to use and have a spot to go during all of this.

My daughter is at University and living 100 miles away. My sister passed away with cancer so my daughter came for the funeral before lockdown was announced. She has got her degree and is doing her honours which ends in May. She returned after the funeral against my wishes, she is a key worker and looks after elderly people. One was returned from hospital, and her company never said why. They provided no PPE, and whilst he couldnt help it, he coughed all over my daughter. She then found out he had been sent home to die as he was terminal and had Covid-19. She is now self isolating as of yesterday. I just pray she has nothing.
Stay safe everyone, this is in for the long haul and i dont see much change here until autumn(the fall for you guys) x

I'm very happy to hear your daughter is doing well!
We've got some great weather here too but can't fly. Stay at home order is still in effect and all the parks are closed, including the local club field.
