IRCHA 2020 was Aug 5-9. I heard that Georges Van Ganssen couldn't be there, due to travel issues between the USA and his home area. Many other full teams weren't gonna be there. I didn't go either.

Keep an eye on Youtube though....I'm sure people will be sharing their videos from IRCHA.

Yeah, from the pics I saw it was very lightly attended. What vendor support was there was marginal and in some cases little more than a flight team rep with a branded popup tent. That's all fine, but certainly a far cry from even last year, much less years prior.

Besides COVID I think that the management of the org (IRCHA, and also AMA generally) and the event (IRCHA Jamboree) are coming under some scrutiny. People have been complaining for a few years now about mismangement, particularly among the vendors who spend big money to make the trip, but also among pilots. It will be interesting to see what happens next year, assuming COVID restrictions are no longer in play.
