So I can only get Internet on my phone now and then as the signal is rubbish.

Good luck with finding a new service. Sucks when C.S. is not up to par.

sorry to hear..... I switched to Ultra Fast FIbre..... and I have set up a carrier grade Wireless router (Does Wireless Only) - some of you may have seen some of my Ubiquity Unify Wireless network tutorials on youtube.....

at about 20 meters radius of my Wireless device.... I can get about 20 Mbps of data throughput ... and at 50 Meters about 7Mps ... it is strong everywhere in my house .... should sell the service to my neihbours and build my own network! I have had quite a few people want to pay for me to set their homes up .... for about $450NZD I can prove I can drastically improve their wireless networks and throughputs and stability. I can even stream HD movies from the net while the whole household streams youtube! I have been working on it for aobut 2.5 years now and it works perfect!

I just run 2 Asus AC66U's one upstairs one downstairs. They both have separate G and A channels for a total of 4 access points. I run one as an access point only and the other as the router/access point and a 1Gbps cable linking the two.

I get excellent reception everywhere in my house and I can stream wireless HD video to multiple TV's although I prefer wired connections when available so most of my TVs have a 1Gb cat 6e cable run to them.
