RC-Hangout

This is the suggested motor for a 49" FPV Flying Wing that I will be building soon. It's said to be a very powerful and reliable motor. I've been looking online for this motor for a few days and I've not been able to find it anywhere. I went to my local hobby shop today and I asked them if they could order it for me. After a few minutes of searching, this motor has been discontinued and is no longer available. That's a bummer!!!

I need your help! I've been looking for a comparable replacement for the OS motor. I've been looking at HK and a few other sites and I just can't settle on a motor that sounds suitable. Here are some details of what I had planned on using, but are subject to change based on a suitable motor:

3S 5000mah battery
10"-12" APC propellers
60amp esc (but this can change if a comparable motor requires it.

Can you guys help me out??? I put a red line on the stats that my friend is using. I'd love to come as close to that as possible.

I didn't see anything there that I liked.


This is the part that confuses me. Based on the specs of the OS motor (can length, can diameter, and KV rating), I don't see anything that has the same wattage. I see many motors that will have the same wattage as the OS motor but the KV is much less.
