Here is the motor in question:

If I remember right, the motor is rated for 80ish amps on 14S. Now, I'd like to put this motor into my upcoming 6S rover and I need an esc. My usual online stores are out of stock of any esc that I think would be suitable. The esc needs to include a reverse feature. What do you guys think? Can you help me out?

I think the search is over. I began thinking about Castle esc's so I checked out their website and found a Mamba Monster 2 1:8 scale esc that is good for 2-6S. It's not sensored, but thats ok. It's a bit more than I wanted to pay but Castle is quality. As an added bonus, this esc is programmable via the Castle Link software, which I already have on my laptop. Cool!!!

Yeah, the Tacon motor has a larger diameter than a pop can and that esc should handle the motor quite well. I plan on running the motor on four 6S batteries at first. I'll post more details when I get started. I have a few other projects to get finished first, lol
