So I have sent Castle an email, so let's see what they come back with,

Love the castle logs. Can't believe they saved a single cent by removing it from the Talon line. If they wanted to give a feature boost to the more expensive Ice/Edge lines then they could have restricted options for when it clears the log automatically (per perhaps require manual clearing), restricted it to 1 sample a second, limited the data values it could log, etc.

I just got my Goblin back together overnight (almost 7am here, haven't been to sleep yet!) with the new 100A ESC castle sent me. Hope to test fly during the day today. And hopefully my current sensing issue is no more. Bench test logs looked good, but that is with practically no load so not expecting much current no matter what.

No logging or an RPM out... Couple team pilots here recently got the new Talon 120.. I like the new look.. Still no logging or RPM out tho.. But it's got one hell'of'a BEC in it! I was watching Clint(of Castle) at the AMA district event pound'n a E7 with the Talon120 & a KDE motor... Dude just rip'd the sky apart with it.. Freak'n awesome.

Yeah with this I am led to believe it could be a combination of heli weight and head speed and then the required pitch to fly,
Weight I can't do much about at the moment but will up the head speed to see if the will give me the ability to use a tad less pitch, it's the reason there was a lot of brown out issues with the stock ESC, still I will wait for castle to get back to me and give thier opinion,

Gearing can play a factor as well...

Gearing is stock I think it's just coz I am not using high enough head speed,
Turned off over current protection as I am not pushing this machine and everything is coming down cool,

I use insensitive on mine.. Serval guys I fly with just turn it off! Honestly I don't know what's best.. Let it fry and auto down then replace an ESC or just let it shut down mid maneuver & crash... Situational either way.. But if it's spiking that bad maybe get a larger ESC.

But a 100amp on the 500 should be plenty.
