3 way switch question

Hey everyone. One of my 3 way switches broke on my TX . My question is , can I take my broken 3 way switch out of my Spektrum DX6 TX and replace it with a 3 way switch from a Walkera 2801 Pro TX?

My thoughts would be yes, you can do that. A 3 way switch is a 3 way switch. As long as you solder the wires properly, yes, I would think you can do that. However, before you begin....wait for someone else to come here with their thoughts.

It probably depends on the size of the switch where it goes through the tx.
If it fits in the hole and has 3 pins I cannot see any reason not to use it.
Just make sure you put it the right way up and wire it correctly.

Well right before I started cutting wires, I decided to try something first. I use this on all my house hold electronics

Well that help with one of my 3 way switches not being 3 way. I only had Normal and stunt 1. The other 3 way switch lever broke from a fall. Now my 3 way switch works and I have a back up switch or I can replace the one that is still broken . I only need one 3 way switch to operate so I should be good to go for the time being.
