Does anyone here use Spektrum telemetry modules with iKon.. Nitro in particular? Iv ready several positives and several negatives.. Several say it works, other say it doesn't... I'd like to have it since the DX9 displays it in realtime.. But don't want to drop the cash juat to find out I can't use it.

This is actually a good question. I don't have an answer for you but I'd like to know if it would work, too.

I have the Ikon on my 600e and I have the Spektrum Telemetry Module still in my DX8 box. I've never used it.

Which module do u have? TM1000 or TM1100? Wanna part with it?

I have the TM1000. Unfortunately, I'd like to keep it because I'd like to see about using it....someday, lol

I'll need to get the lead that monitors the battery voltage first.

I'm sure that will work if connected.. My worry is the connection to ikon.. 1) The main connection if I'm understanding it right.. Cannot be used on the bind port of ikon as it is not powered.. So u must use an empty servo slot.. I've read discrepancies on whether to leave the signal wire in or remove it as it have some affect on keeping it bound to the transmitter since the ikon uses sats instead of a full blown reciever(could us a reciever I suppose).. If the signal stays then u will get the RX packs voltage(or at least what's passing they ikon).. I'm also interested in the gov lead... 2) On a nitro, can one use a "y" to feed the signal from the sensor and feed both the ikon gov & the telemerty unit or would u need to use a seperate sensor for each? Answering those 2 ?'s will put my direction on a steady path to proceed w telem or omit it.

I just read that the Spektrum Telemetry module is NOT compatible with the Ikon.

If you want to use the Telemetry module, a Spektrum rx is required.

Hold the phone Batman... If u use sats only.. U can get the telem unit powered, and get RX voltage, but u won't get the signals fade/loss reads... Where did u read this? Look at the freak link above and have a read.. I'd like to read ur info as well and compare the info... I'm really really wanting this to work!

Something told me that Marius would have something to add to this, lol. I read on HeliFreak that the two components won't work together. Now, that info was early on in the thread. Maybe I didn't read far enough along....quite possible.

What did you do to wire it up and get it all to work? What are you monitoring via the telemetry?

Exactly how do u have it wired Marius? Did u power the tele via an open channel on ikon? Did u leave the signal wire of that connection in? Am I correct that the said connection will only transmit Rx viltage and not signal fades & frame loss? Are u using it on an electric or nitro? If u could ease provide as much data as u can.. Pics are a plus! Thanks in advance.
