iKon Bank Settings

Hey guys.. Maybe one of u veteran iKon users can help me with something. With iKon I only use 2 of the possible 3 banks.. Set to the 2 position "A" switch. During set up & tuning, I'll fly bank1 with the preliminary
Basic settings from the bench so I can flick back to it if a tuning mistake is made evident in flight.. My safety during tuning if u will.. I'll copy bank1 to the other bank and use that one to make changes until I'm happy with setup & tuning.. Takes about a good week of tinker'n... At that point.. I'll take the bank Im pleased with and copy it back to bank1, overwriting the initial setup.. Then I'll add SL to bank I made that copy of.. Bank2... Hope someone is still with me here.. So.. I end up w 2 banks... Bank1 tuned up and fly'n pretty, then bank2 with SL, but otherwise identical to bank1. Ok.. So in the software of my Align 550 in the basic bank screen it showed my bank1 corresponding to "A" on my radio.. When I flick to bank2... It goes to bank3. Now I didnt give it much thought due to using a 2-position switch, I had assumed it would omit bank3..but I omitted bank2 instead.. I took it as normal and rolled with it, all is good. Now here on the N5C... With the switch on my radio requesting bank1(same as the 550 set up), it's showing bank3. If I request bank3, it goes to bank1. Now this really doesn't make a hill'o'beans during flight.. Does what it's supposed to.. But I have to watch it making changes in the software so I keep it straight.. I don't wanna think that hard.. My OCD will not allow me to keep it this way.. So my ? Is how do I make bank1 on the transmitter the same as the software? HELP!

I had a similar issue with the cc3d I got it to work by adjusting the endpoints for the channel that the switch is assigned to until, the switch leaves you in the desired bank. Hope this helps Clay.

That was my futaba 8j one of the 3 position switchs worked out of the box the other I had to mess with the end points to get it to read the switch positions correctly.

Yep reversing the channel is the key. I lived with the banks being backwards on my multirotors for ages, then one day just reversed them.
Much easier to remember :D
