Lost power

Post by DOG »

Hey all. In the process of me charging batteries up this evening, I lost power to the house for over 2 1/2 hrs :( . My batteries weren't done charging. :?: My question is, Can I keep on charging the batteries that were interrupted in the power failure or should I fly the battery til I bring it down to storage charge before charging again :? I hope this make sense  Thanks in advance.

What voltage per cell are they at? Did u pull them off upon loosing power to the house? Did your charging cause the power outage? Lol... If they are close to full charge.. I'd just fly them.. If they haven't got past 4.1, I'd just continue the charge. Really doesn't matter. But if u fly them a little shy of full charge, land a little early. Should be fine.

Lipos defer from Nickle batteries in such that it doesnt matter. half charged depleted doesnt matter, no memory on lipos.

Yup, shouldn't be a problem to fly them if they're close to full or throw them back on the charge if they aren't quite full yet.
