Hey all, since I've been going to the park and flying the 500, I've notice that the heli is getting hard to see, my blind ass cant see anyway
, when it gets some distance from me
. So my better have is getting me this
http://www.helidirect.com/helicopters/c ... o-dfc.html for our 8yr Anniversary gift that's coming up.
I should be able to see it now
I like to know if the extra weight of the boom cover will make my 500 electronics run hotter

It may run a touch hotter. Not enough to really worry about it though. If it does, consider carving a couple of ventilation slots in the canopy around the motor and/or electronics.
More of a concern will be CG. You may find a need to shift the position of the battery to counter the extra weight hanging off the back.

Thank you sir. I was hoping that's all I had to deal with was the CG only. I will check out the ventilation to see if the heli needs some. Thanks again Paul
