Just wanted to drop in, and say "Howdy!"

I'm the other Derek from Indiana. (Not to be confused with Derek here that goes by Derek). :lol:

Anywho, I have been flying for just a little over two years now, and have been totally addicted to helicopters (all sizes including full scale) since I was a wee lad. As far as the hobby goes, I started out racing RC electric cars back in the late 80's, and moved on to planes for a while with a friend of mine and his dad. It wasn't until two years ago that I purchased my first collective pitch heli, and have been utterly obsessed ever since.

I currently own the following Helicopters:

Align T-rex 500 Pro DFC (Brand new, still in the carton)

Howdy Derek, nice to have you on board mate, and very nice helis there, you still have one in the box... Good grief man, get it out, let's see some photos of your collection.. Stick them in the helicopter section...

The Trex is still packed away from my very recent move, but I will definitely get to building it before spring, hopefully.

The Evo is built but is waiting a replacement part to come in unfortunately. I'll post pics momentarily. :D

Where in Indiana are you? I'm in Fort Wayne. Ken is a bit more than an hour north of me and Kyle is just a bit further north of Ken.

Any of you Indy Guys that have some stories about a 500 race you've been to, I'd love to hear'em, (in another forum, of course) I follow Pro Drag Racing more than "left-turners", but I like most all motor sports...

Hey Derek...I just saw a post from "Powerdyne" on HF....I saw that this person is from Muncie, Indiana. I am in Fort Wayne...only about an hour north. Are you that same person???
