The old forum isn't dead but was for a while, while it was down (nearly 3 weeks) and not going to be there ever again to our knowledge, we set up this one.

Lee - Got the Subscriptions sorted now ... but thought they would be automatically applied to the member when they post the topic or reply to a post..... ????

There is a setting in your user profile to automatically subscribe when you reply to any thread (or start one). You can also control it on a thread by thread basis in the "full editor". There was a problem originally with the quick reply feature resetting the subscription status of the thread to off, but that was fixed a month or more ago.
