Good camera Uri, i had one that i used for recording heli flights and then strapped it to my mini quads it took a lot of good beatings before it died, i found it to be more durable than the mobius that i had (KIA)

I am glad someone used it. So then I should be able to get some decent footage. This will help me add my flight videos. My phone is a pain to get mounted to my hat.

Not a problem. I would get the 4K one or one with wifi. I jumped the gun to early and just got the plain jane one.

They are good cameras.
Hobby King sell the same one, rebranded as the Turnigy Action cam.
Its $19 more than the one Matthias has ordered, but its in the US warehouse.
So you'll get it in a week, not in a month from China.

Also be aware, there are a few fake SJ4000 cams coming out of China.
Check Youtube for fake SJ4000 to see comparisons.

I've been using the Xiaomi Yi for about a month. It's a cracking camera for the money and now records in 2k with the latest firmware update.

Sounds good, Matthias! I've heard many people do like that camera. Since I've recently broke my 2nd Mobius camera, I think I'm either going to get the SJ camera or the rebranded Turnigy camera from HK.

Today I finally got the camera. I am kicking myself for not getting the runcam2. It is what it is.

It came in a plastic type package wrapped in copious amounts of bubble wrap. Inside that was just a plastic molded tray, no box. The battery was completely flat and took hours to charge. Maybe tomorrow I can get some test footage that will be uploaded unedited.

So far not good. The indoor video with 5500 kv led light bulds sucks. My phone does better, oh wait that has 4K on it. Anyhow if it is sunny tomorrow I will get some out door shots and see how it does. If its crappy then I think I will invest in that runcam2. That thing is straight up nice for the price.

Sounds like it could be a fake.

It is a fake. The quality is crap even in real daylight. The mic is crap and has a bunch of "noise" in the audio. DO NOT BUY FROM THE DEALER I DID. About to blow up his ebay store.

So I went to the seller sight on ebay and wrote a review. One thing I forgot in the review is the lack of setting for the still camera. I can not change the resolution of that camera, it is stuck at 1.3m. I wanted to attach this screen shot in case the decline my review.

No because I don't think it will come to fruition on their part. I'll just hold out for the runcam. I'll email Bruce Simpson for a reliable source for this camera. I did find the runcam site so I will pursue them.
