Camera fades out

Hello, I was wondering if FPV cameras after a few flight can slowly fade out when flying? I've been having this problem not all the time but after a few flights, one after another, my view slowly disappears. Has this happen to anyone else beside my self?

What voltage are you powering the camera with, is it getting hot at all?

Hey Stambo. I have a Runcam swift camera and I have it soldered directly where the battery +/- is. It's not hot but warm.

Sounds like a voltage drop DOG.
I have had that happen to me when I've accidentally over discharged the battery.
If you have the camera running through a voltage regulator, this may help.

Thanks Lee for that information. I was hoping I wasn't the only one that had this problem. I will purchase a voltage regulator but which one do you recommend?

Does your quad not have a built in PCB with Voltage regulator?
All my quads have a PCB with the choice of 5 or 12V output.
If you need a voltage reg, this is a good one if you need 12V.

There may be some better ones, but i'm not clued up on the latest gadgets :D
