This Sony 600TVL camera is the go to unit for FPV guys.
Now at only $30, its a bargain. It punches way above its weight, for quality at a great price.
I chose the 2.1mm lens option. Going through trees, this really helped with peripheral vision.

Unfortunately after a hard crash something in my FPV system broke. Myself and Tony checked and doubled checked everything. Tested all his gear with mine, and the only thing not working was the camera.
It wasn't until watching an RCmodel reviews video it suddenly clicked. there is a crystal soldered to the board. I hadn't noticed, but it had fallen off.

I got onto the Chat box of Security2000, where I purchased the camera, and they offered to send me a new crystal for FREE I say free, but I had to pay $8 shipping, so not really free LOL :D

When it arrives, I will hot glue the crystal so the pins are not carrying the load. this should stop any further problems.

That's a watch crystal by the looks of it Lee, 32768hz, they are really cheap to buy. Probably the most common crystal on the market too.. I've got around 20 of those..

Pleased you have sorted that one out

The crystal for this camera is 28.375MHz.
I'm sure i could have found one, but to be 100% thought it better to get it from the source :)

I have the smaller version of this camera inside a case, I think it cost me around $35.
It is streets ahead of the camera that came with my Fatshark kit.
I may pull the covers and do the hot glue mod on that too.
I thought about getting the 800tvl version but after watching Bruces review, latency may be an issue.

Like anything electronic, double check the wiring before you power it up.
I cannot remember whether mine was plug and play or if I had to change anything.
