SPRacing OSD/PDB

Hey guys... wanted to drop a line here on a product I have had for awhile but haven't installed & used until recently.. being laid off work I have had nothing but time.. been tinkering in the "Lab" a lot to keep my mind clear & reduce stress.. anyway... the Seriously Pro Racing OSD/PDB was realeased a short time ago.. this product is stackable to all SPRacing boards(except the mini) and uses an F3 chip.. running Cleanflight.. 32bit moving away from the old 8bit multiwi code.. this is a great idea as 1 Cleanflight update does all.. no worry about compatibility and future proofing the product.. I was sold on it so I ordered one from SPRacing to get a jump on it and when they came available stateside at GetFPV I ordered another 2... the intention was to have the same setup on all 3 quads.. the QAV210, QAV X, & a second QAV210 clone(dedicated GoPro ship in progress).. so.. I only had 1 quad built, the 210.. but since I was in the middle of building the X.. I put the 1st one on it.. well.. didn't go well at all. The video feed itself would come & go if it came on at all.. the overlay was the same.. the amp, voltage, mah meter,.... none of it worked. Tried a couple forums to see if I could find an answer/help.. seems a lot of guys r having the same issue.. as this went on Dominic sent me a post and I did as instructed.. no luck. Ended up bypassing the OSD so I could fly. So while this was going on I had beat the crap outta my 210 and was in need of an overhaul.. so while I did that I figured I'd try another one of my OSD/PDB.. maybe I had done something wrong on the 1st one.. I love the EVO boards from SPRacing.. so I put it in.. basically the same problems exist.. I feel doubley bad as I talked a buddy into getting one.. he has the same issues.. and this thing cost $39.99 USD! great idea.. fail on actual product... watch this video and you'll see what I mean.. the entire video feed breaks up.. comes and goes.. same with the overlay.. even at times it drops the video blank & says "no camera".. u guys have seen other footage of my flights and know it wasn't this bad.. check it out.. it just gets worse as the flight goes on.

Personally I don't see a need for an OSD on a racing or proximity quad.
Camera ship, different story.
I have the telemetry on my Taranis and the nice lady tells me when the flight battery is getting low.
I may mess around at some stage with putting my name in the video feed but beyond that I like to look at what I might hit rather than numbers on a screen.
However it is a personal preference as we are all entitled to have. :)

This OSD/PDB is garbage... DO NOT BUY one... moved on to a Matek OSD/PDB.. it gives all I need.. so far so good with the Matek.. the response from SPRacing & its owner.. or lack there of.. just terrible! I am replacing all SPRacing gear.. hardware & software/firmware. I won't support a company who will not support their own product or customers.
