Hey there. I just got a new vtx and i purchased the wrong connector. While waiting for the right vtx connector to come in I was wondering if I can cut the wires on the right side "Red and black/power and the yellow, red and the brown" and splice the left connector together with " Black, white, yellow, and black/red power" and have a working harness?

I hope this makes sense

Yes you can as long as voltage is the same that you are plugging the harness into:)
eg. live= red+yellow Ground=black + Brown Live being same voltage?

OK I'm still lost. I'm not sure if I got this connected the right way. I don't want to plug it in just in case something goes haywire. The flight controller is a Naze32 Rev6. On the far right is the harness that I wired but not sure if it's right. The vtx is a Lumenier TX5G6R with the harness that goes with it. The connector that goes to the Naze doesn't fit. The wire on the left that's connected to the naze is a spare wire that came with the quad. Is there a video or can someone help me get this vtx connected so I can have FPV on my new quad that I haven't had the chance to fly, just in LOS flight. Any help will be appreciated

What is the plug you have wired up connecting to from the VTX?

I'm sorry but this is new to me and I'm lost. I guess I'm a dummy for not getting it

The plug/harness is the one they sent me for the VTX. The short plug is the plug that comes out of the Naze that was connected to my broken VTX. I would like to connect the harness from the VTX, " red/brown/yellow/black/red" to the plug from the naze, "black/white/yellow/black/red" The camera has its own plug in the front. The diagrams are showing me how to connect The VTX to the camera. I'm not sure I'm making any sense to anyone. I just want the right harness or homemade harness to connect the VTX to the flight board on the spedix Black Knight 210 like it was before I broke it. Here's another pic. Maybe this one will help.

I have a 5 pin plug on the Naze and the VTX has the harness they sold me.

Hey there Graham Lawrie. I thank you for all that information. After pulling my hair out for the last few hours I finally got it. I didn't even notice that one of the pins on the camera was bent over and wasn't connecting

. Once I saw that and bent it back so it will connect, the Video appeared

. I thank you for your time and knowledge.

Hello again. I have another question. On the power lead of the VTX can i solder the leads to the positive and negative where my battery leads go to on the Naze or do I have to solder the leads to somewhere else that has power? Thanks in advance

You can as long as the voltage is the same:) eg if your camera needs 5v solder to the + - on the 5v pins:)
I am home this weekend and can skype tomorrow Saturday?

Hey there Graham Lawrie. Being new to this I would appreciate if you can Skype tomorrow when you have time

I did soldered the wires to the battery lead. The one camera that came with the spedix 210 works fine but my Runcam camera doesn't. I also need to make the 210 respond quicker then it does. I think everything is at stock settings at the moment. I'm not really sure where I can make the changes. I would like to get this set up right on the 210 so when my fossil 210 frame comes in, I can put the electronics from the spedix into the fossil. I bought 2 of those spedix 210 for the price. I got them each for $64.00 plus if something goes wrong, I'll have back up parts at least. Just let me know when It's convenient time schedule for you since I'm on the other side of the pond. Thanks again for offering your help
