I've heard the power leads going into the CC BEC is also an issue. They surface mounted the wires instead of through hole. Which makes them sensitive to any kind of strain or vibration. Eventually the solder joint fails and down it goes. I also just don't like the lack of a well thought out protection mechanism upon failure. WB and gryphon BECs both have better protection built in. All can fail, CC just doesn't offer the peace of mind I like. I run a CC BEC pro in my 500 but my 550 and 700 both have Gryphon which both run on 12S.
