Slightly squashed esc cap

Post by danhampson »

As the title says I've found one of the caps on one of my esc's is slightly squashed. I've ordered some new ones to solder on, but would you fly it with the damaged cap?

Definitely NOT Dan... The internal dielectric will be damaged and could draw excessive current from the lipo...

Is it possible to attach one bigger cap to the PDB, and remove the caps on the ESCs to reduce there size?
