Just ordered a set of these.
As my Afro escs are too big to go inside my new frame.
Super small, flashed with BLHeli.
Can't wait to get this beasty flying :)

They are the same as the ones I've got on porket, mine came with simonk firmware and I flashed them with blheli. They have been flawless in the 6 months or so I've been using them.

I'm surprised you didn't go for the 20A ones Kev.
They are exactly the same size.

The afros have BLHeli on them for a while now.
Just not had anything to put them on.
They were going on my new 4S quad, but not now I have these.
Sunnysky motors arrived yesterday too :D

Seems that one of mine has died :(
Motor doesn't turn, or is stuttering.
I will swap over escs tomorrow to be sure its the esc and not the motor.

I was going to reflash the firmware.
But on BLHeli software, I get a warning, saying this is an unrecognised 13.2 firmware, and flashing it may cause damage??
Anyone know about this?

Not good Lee:( keep us posted:)

I have not fitted mine yet, not sure whether to put them on the Volt or the Fossil V2:)

Yep its dead.
Tested the motor with an afro esc, and that worked perfectly.
Tested the esc on another motor, same issue.
Flashed it again with an earlier BLheli fw, and tried various timings, but no go.
So I have emailed Banggood, lets see if they sort me out or not.

I have had a few issues with BG and they always come through with customer service:) downside is you still have the wait if you get it from China and not UK:)

I had a similar issue when I had flashed mine with blheli 14.0.2 all the motors stuttered on start up and then I got magic smoke from 3 esc's and a motor. I've since replaced the esc's but flashed them with blheli 14 beta which works I'm going to skip updating them until another version or 2 has been released.

Just got an email from Banggood. New esc on the way :)

Dan, I didn't flash them.
It was working fine for a few fights.
Heres a video of the issue.

Went out for a fly today, and half way through the first battery, it just dropped from the sky.
At first I thought it had thrown a prop, as two were broken, even though it landed in tall grass.
These DAL props I got a while ago, are crap. Badly balanced, and brittle as a dry piece of spagetti :D

Anyway, it wasn't that as I found out when I plugged it in back home.
A bunch of magic smoke came billowing out from my new X4RSB receiver
Much to my relief, it was the esc under the RX. A lot cheaper repair :D
So here it is. Just decided to give up the ghost after about a year of abuse.
House stinks of burnt FETs
