Big motors and Little Bee 40amp esc's

I've found some motors that I'm thinking about using for a project but I'd like to ask for some opinions.

Here are the specs for a T Motor MN3520-11 400kv

This motor is good for 4-8S lipo and the specs state Max Continuous current(A)180S......38A. I'm going to assume that the "Max Amps of 38" is on an 8S setup. I'm intending on a 6S setup. The above chart does show some specs for this this motor with a T Motor 17x5.8 (possibly carbon fiber) on 6S pulling 28.1 amps at 100% throttle. I'm intending on using 15" props, at most.

Now, my question is this....for the esc's...I'm looking at the Little Bee Spring 40amp BlheliS esc's. Here are the specs:

These esc's are Blheli with OneShot125 and DShot (I have no idea what DShot is, lol), and 6S capable, so this is good. Based on the motor chart, above, if those motors pull 28.1amps, on 6s with 17" props, would you guys think I'd be ok using these esc's on 6S with 15" props, at most?

Seems like they will handle it ok mate,

Dshot is digital esc signalling and is freaking awesome mate, no esc calibrations min throttle issues wont desinc and to boot the escs have error checking using dshot and they run so smooth.

I've just ordered a set of 4 of these motors for my project. At $55 each, I was pleased to see that a 10% discount automatically was applied on top of the already "on sale" price, lol. I imagine these motors will be here by Monday, at the latest. BuddyRC is just amazing about shipping times.

I wanted to get the motors ordered now so that I can make a template of the bolt mounting spacing so that I can get the holes predrilled in my quad frame.

I'll likely order up the ESC's in a few weeks.

Oh wow! My new T Motors showed up today. They are gorgeous and very very smooth. The motor wires are longer than i thought they'd be, too. Just awesome!

I got the boxes open and WOW! Even the boxes are quality, lol. The motors spin so freely and smoothly! The motor wires are about 24 inches long and have 3.5mm bullet connectors already soldered (likely to get snipped off anyway). I ordered 4 Little Beed 40 amp 4-6S Dshot esc's from Heli-Direct. I ordered a KISS flight controller and some other stuff from GetFPV.com. I've gotten email notifications from both, stating that my orders have been shipped. I've ordered some 14" carbon fiber props from BuddyRC.com and I'll order some 15" props when they become available.
