I don't know why but I should of ordered another 2 pack :( That's OK, I just finished placing another order in to HeliDirect  Now I will have 4 batteries for each RC vehicle to fly :D Except for the tiny whoop I lost. I'll get another one down the road 8-)

That's good to know cml001. I'm glad that I ordered 2 more because I think I screwed one up. Can this battery be saved. First time use too!

That's no biggie... if u have a 4s balance extention lead.. sacrifice it.. if not U can order another connector.. JUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO LET THESE LEADS TOUCH EACH OTHER! As I'm sure u know, the balance leads are power leads for each cell and can short.. killing the pack & very likely to cause fire! Pull the leads one at a time and put into a new connector. With quads u need to ensure that the balance cable won't make contact w the props.. there are a lot of ways to do it... wire tie it to the main power leads, use a rubber band around the pack and tuck it under it, or Velcro... u get the idea.. another tip is AB clips... they go over the balance connector and provide a good grip so when u use the balance lead u r not pulling on the wires so much & add a little protection.

I was gonna suggest those AB clips, too! When I ordered my first Glacier packs, two years ago, they came with those AB clips. They are quite handy. They are so handy, I ordered a bunch of them for all my batteries.

DOG....do what Clay said....get a 4S balance extension and snip off the end. Solder that new connector in place of the broken one...then life is good! Then just be sure to always secure your balance lead before you fly again.

Yeah be very careful not to let the ends of the balance lead touch. I lost a pack this way. Balance lead got loose and a prop ate it. I soldered on a 4S lead, but after I was finished i realized the wires must have touched because the wires had burned up inside the silicone jacket material. So I ended up having to rip apart the pack and solder on a completely new balance connector. I have yet to test out the pack. I managed to solder it on backwards so now I need to swap pins in the connector before my charger or pack testers can read it.

So I haven't yet seen if the pack is salvaged, but I believe the balance lead wires are thin enough to burn out before any major cell damage can occur. The pack and cells never even got hot when I shorted the lead ends to each other. The balance leads certainly did though. :)
