It's awesome when I can come here and ask a question and you guys just reply with "Yes, it will Derek". I think I'm going to make up a wire jumper, like that guy did in his video, versus soldering to those pads.Graham Lawrie wrote:Yes it will Derek:)

Re: Naze32 Bootloader Failed
Ok, one more thing...just looking for clarification....
When I go through this seemingly simple process, am I reflashing the Naze32 firmware or the Betaflight firmware? Hmmm, not sure that makes sense...
Ultimately, I'd like to go with Betaflight Luxfloat. Right now, I can connect to the Naze32 with Cleanflight. The failed bootloader issue is when I tried to "Load Firmware [Local]" and tried to "Flash Firmware" for the betaflight.hex. So, am I just going to reflash the latest stable Naze32 firmware, via the shorted pads, to fix the bootloader, then go for the betaflight.hex by flashing firmware [Local] or am I going to short the pads and try to flash the betaflight.hex?

Re: Naze32 Bootloader Failed
Just a thought Derek, have you tried this on another PC?
I had an issue where the driver on a work computer would not recognise the board when I tried to flash Betaflight.
I took it home and it worked perfectly.
I have not yet resolved this as I rarely use my work PC for this type of thing.
I fixed his Naze32 by reflashing the bootloader with the pins shorted then flashing cleanflight and then Betaflight.
Disconnect and power down the board between each flash.

Re: Naze32 Bootloader Failed
no, I've not tried another computer. I'll try using my laptop after I get off work. Who knows....it may work.
