Flight Controller Orientation

Silly question time!!! LOL

I'm confident that I know the answer but I wanted to ask to make sure.

There is an arrow on my Omnibus F4 v2 that shows "the front of the fc." I'm planning on using Inav. Now, if I have the arrow of the fc facing rearwards and then set the Yaw Position in the Configurator to 180 degrees, the fc will still work and stabilize in the proper directions, right? I'm only asking because it makes more sense for me to orient the fc this way due to wiring.

Yes you are correct Derek, just be careful when make trim adjustments.
Not sure about current version, I need to update and try it but when I was trying to adjust my Nano Talon for level flight I took me a while to find that Inav still used the original orientation for roll and pitch trim adjustments.
I had to adjust roll to change pitch angle in self level.
I have my board set 90 left.

Thanks for the warning, Stambo! I didn't think about that but I'll try to remember that!!

The more and more I thought about it, Stambo's warning really made me think. Just to avoid any unnecessary problems, I'll just orient the fc with the arrow facing forwards. Yes, having the arrow facing rearward would make the wiring easier but it's also something that I'll just get over. So, the fc arrow will be facing forward when I do get it installed.
