Yeah the orange is more visible, but nearly impossible to get hold of in Europe.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcG4YHEAa_E

Ive learnt alot this week, ive got my CG where i like it (its taken quite a few flights to get it right). and have started to improve my throttle control in harriers, elevators knife edge and spins.

The slow forward and inverted flight is a harrier, and the slow forward and inverted decent is an elevator I've been working on these all week as they are one of the most fundamental moves in rc plane 3d.
glad you enjoyed it Tony.

Thanks Cam. I've not flown a heli for a month or so, I've just been having far too much fun with with the edge.

thanks guys.

Put another couple of packs through her this afternoon, it was pretty windy (about 10-15 mph) so used the opportunity to test out the A3 Super gyro in the wind. it seemed to hold pretty well with slight movement in gusts. im going to turn the gain up a bit more for the next flights.

Things have been going pretty well with the edge for the last couple of weeks, i've gotten to fly her nearly every day for at least 2 packs.

got to flt another 2 packs this afternoon 1st flight was excellent started to work on harrier rolls and just some general post stall flying.
second flight didnt go so well, I'll let the video speak for itself.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVVGaddLdkk

ive not assessed the damage yet but it looking like the airframe is a total loss. I have yet to check the electronics, and wont be able to do that until the weekend im pretty confident that most of it will be ok the only part that may be fubar is the bolt on prop driver.

So in the new year i will be doing another plane build, looks like i'll be flying the 550 until i can get a new airframe.

Thanks paul. I was making amazing progress with fixed wing.
I had a quick look at the airframe before I left for work there is no chance of repairing it both sides of the frame are smashed to piece's the fuze is in 3 parts the only thing holding it together is the covering. The motor box is shattered, carbon tube and sleeve are both snapped in half cowl is in 2 piece's.
I'm not sure what to do at the moment, whether to get another 41 edge or go up a size to a 48-50 inch. There are a couple of extreme flight airframes that I really like the look of I do think that I will go with an extreme flight airframe just because I can get hold of spares easily, the only way to get spares for the 41 edge is to have them imported for the US.
