Thanks for watching, Tony! Dad did an awesome job with the Delta Ray. I'm sure we'll see him back on the sticks soon. Hopefully he can gain enough experience to fly his plane that we built. Then we can have two models in the air at the same time.

Dad was flying this flight solo. No buddy cable. He had my DX8 and I was on the camera. He did the take off, flight, and landing.

Awesome job. I was cringing when he was near those power lines. After flying at your place I know they are further out than the video shows.

Man, your father came a long way Derek since. Hes got this down now and I bet hes ready to do some stunts.

I've spoken to Dad and I've educated him on which switch to flip if he wants to go into Intermediate Mode. He has told me that he'll probably stay in Beginner Mode for a while longer. No problem, I told him "No rush". But yes....he's doing quite well. He will be working on his orientations when the plane is coming towards him....left is right and right is left, lol.

Thanks Tony! This plane is just a peach to fly. My Dad is doing a superb job on his own with this plane, especially considering he hasn't flown anything since the 70's. He really enjoys the Beginner Mode of the Delta Ray. We'll work on his landings but, all in all, he's doing fantastic and I'm happy for him.
