Recognise that field Dan... Some rattling going on there... Nice flight though, lovely and smooth...

Thanks guys.
I think the rattling is the carbon cage that surrounds the fc it's CAed to the bottom plate and then it has tab that slot into the top plate and I think over time the Barbon has worn a bit and rattles it doesn't seem to affect the performance of the model so I'm not really that bothered about it.

recently i order a spracingf3 board and made the decision to put the board on porket, im running cleanflight compiled by me from the master (next release pretty much) BLHeli 14 (next release) the pids are pretty much stock a bit of I and D. running 3s

looptime = 800
gyro_lpf = 256 (off, using borisb's soft flitering
ggyro_cut = 100hz
pterm_cut = 50hz
dterm_cut = 17hz

the difference between the spracinggf3 and naze is truly night and day especially the work borisb is putting into the project with soft filtering, there are many good things coming to cleanflight in the near future.

its hard to explain the quad is locked in like you wouldn't believe, you just point it where you want to go and it goes.

this is what the board is more than capable of

One of the worlds better multirotor pilots makes it look real good, be interesting to see if it makes as much difference to us mere mortals. :)

I've flown the new board with cleanflight and blheli beta ' s and it does make a difference to mere mortals like us. The precision the new software and filters give is clearly noticeable on the first flight after flashing.

practice Derek. Fly, crash, change props, repeat.......

thats the main problem ive got, trees are to dense and/or to much undergrowth, this spot is ok but there is only a very small area to fly due to undergrowth, about 40m x 10m, its really good fun once you find your rythme.

ive just ordered some new parts for porket as in the last week ive had 2 motors fail on me (1 lost to Derek god fire and the second sometimes would and then wouldnt spool) the 2 remaining motors have got excessive vertical play in them lol.
Im not too bothered about the motors as i have probably put in excess of 400 hard 4s flights on them and probably about half that many crashes

Im sticking with the dys 1806 2300kv motors as I have already replaced the 2 dead motors and quite like them, I have also ordered some new 6 3s packs (for racing) https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/sto ... duct=75129 im hoping that these have a lot more poke than the 1300 20c's ive been testing with.

Motors should be here tuesday and packs wednesday, i need to get some stick time to tune before the 25th.
