here is a video of yesterday flight with V curve set to 95, 92.5, 90, 92.5, 95 as Clay suggested... does feel better.

im also testing my new video editing software, bought this when we were on RCH but forgot i had it till Kev mentioned it again yesterday. anyway i put some daft comments in the Vid...

and yes before i forget make sure you watch the part where i nearly nose dived into the deck.... dont know what happened there but it was absolutely freezing so im blaming that...lol..

That was really good flying, Tony! Nice job! It looked very controlled and deliberate....with the exception of that dive but you recovered. Very cool!!!

Oh yeah... To me.. That looks better... U could even stretch the the "v" curve further if u felt big'n was still an issue(it's gonna some as u load it).. Make it a 7 or 10 point spread instead of the 5... 97, 93.5, 90, , 93.5, 97.. U can play with it till u find what u like... But I think if u keep it where u have it on idle up.. Use a 45C pack.. Bogging won't be an issue.. Watch flight times.. Good flight bud!

Thanks Derek and Clay, I can only adjust curves to 5 points with this DX6i Clay, but I'm quite happy with it now. More flying time needed to get the feel of it. Only used 2 lipos yesterday as it was bitter cold... Yeah got sticker on TX now Clay for timer....

Thanks guys, I'll continue to post new vids in this thread when I've got something to show...

Looked good mate.
What Mah did you put back in that battery?
Sounded as though it was loosing power towards the end. Make sure you are not having to put more than 80% back in.
Thats 1760Mah max to keep the battery in good nick.

Got through 5 packs today, progressing with IU now. Just getting the feel of heli.. Video'd 3 of the flights but I'll only post one when it's published. This is progression for me. Just basic stuff but all in IU..

Using a different camera on head, heavier than Möbius, but I've lent that out.. This one does have limited anti shake on it so vids are a bit better than previous ones..

Only ran all lipos for 5 mins, I'm interested to see what the charger puts back in now.

I'll post link as soon as it's on YT

Thanks guys, appreciate the support.. Yes Clay getting used to IU, I was concerned about switching back to normal before landing as I got a bit of a shock on one of the flights and landed nice and smooth in IU then dropped the throttle to find it didn't stop.. Lol... Been talking to Lee and got a new idea to try using TH on takeoff and landing... So I'll give that a go tomorrow..

First lipo I charged got to 2026ma, this was the one on that vid where I was in IU throughout the flight. the rest charged to 1700 to 1900 so not too bad at 5 mins.

Thanks guys

That's better mate, I was getting 5 mins out of mine and putting approx 1300 back into a pack on 30c Overlander sport cells, but that's with all Align elects which seem to be well matched and quite efficient

I guess 5 x 5 minutes isn't bad in this weather, it was freezing today too, going to try a different motor and pinion. In my other thread... But I'm happy with this now. Bogs a bit. But that's when I get into real hardcore 3D... Haha I wish...

Thanks Kev

Like I said earlier mate it's the weight of those skids that is causing that a bit, you would be better of with 500 size ones,
