Redon my vehicle setup and picked a profile that was a lot closer to mine and that was the result with no extra tuning,

Me is a happy chappy

Looks good Kev. You may want to drop the I gain a couple of points to try getting rid of that wobble.

Well got another two packs on the quad last night in the hall, finding this bird great fun, Lee gave me some advice to turn Pid's I gain down a little to get rid of a bit of oscillating but what ever I did did not seem to work, might end up getting a acro naze32 on clear flight as its what all the others in my club are using,

But in rate mode it was perfect, so I guess I could live with the attitude mode the way it is,

Well I had a couple of batteries tonight in the quad,

Now I have changed from cc3d to naze32, the naze I set up with oscars settings, will add link later, but my mate was running them on his 250 and they looked very good, so it was a good starting point for me,

Straight off the bat it was pretty well locked in, up into a stable oscillation free hover, quick movements ended with good stops no overshoot or bounce, and nice on the yaw abait a bit slow,

Now I set my flight modes as
1 horizon
2 angle
3 acro

Only flew in horizon and angle

Angle felt like attitude in the cc3d but did not have the aggressive correction like in the cc3d
Horizon gave leveling but had the feeling of acro mode just not to much to handle,

I upped the yaw rate, and found the responsiveness and speed was better then,

All in all I found the naze to fly more like my helis responsive but with added stability.

I have a video of onboard which I will upload over the weekend

Tbh Tony the naze feels more spontaneous and less harsh, I think the cc3d needs to be tuned perfectly to fly really well,

It might be interesting to see what the cc3d would be like on cleanflight

Are you sure it wasn't
Horizon
Angle
Acro?

Angle is self level
Horizon is self level until 1/2 stick then more like acro (to allow flips and rolls with the self level safety net).
Acro is free for all, where you put it is where it stays. A bit more like a FB heli.

If you are flying with Arm set it is just that, it arms the board instead of the low right throttle. I suggest not a good idea because you overide the auto disarm.
It would be probably be flying in Acro. :)

If you look at the LEDs on the board,
Blue is board powered up
Green is armed
Red is any self level flight mode set (Angle or Horizon should bring this on)
If you are having trouble arming it and the Green is on it is either not sitting level enough or it needs calibrating.

I'll see if I can find a tutorial to overwrite OP with clean flight and try it...

Stambo you were right, it was angle mode

I just reconfigured them to positions

1 Angle
2 Horizon
3 Acro or don't touch this button Scotty or she's gonna blow,

Well guys had a look at the video, and the quality is not 100% when looking at it on the laptop but on the iPad its not bad at all,

When I'm flying you can see some twitches to the sides but that's just me getting used to how quick the quad now reacts,

The small quad at the beginning is Edgar doing some tuning in his own weird way, lol

2 things came from this video,

I need to get some airtime to get used to this new firmware,
I need a mobius!

Well here it is, http://youtu.be/teTelfewuSY

Once you start flying FPV, acro is the only way to go.
Any of the self level modes seem so restrictive to me now.
Acro is so much smoother for video too.
