I've had a few headaches while building this quad but thankfully those issues were easily resolved by paying attention to "details", lol.

Yeah, that was Chloe. She likes the FPV quad.

Thanks Tony! Considering this was a short maiden, Im quite happy! Im still feeling a bit under the weather, so to speak, but I had to get out and try it.

Thanks Dan! Tuning is gonna have to wait until next week. I'll be working all this weekend and probably some mandatory overtime next week. I'll work on the quad when the time is allowed but I was real happy with the first flight.

Here is the FPV maiden flight of my ECHO 290 FPV quad. I was real happy with how the quad felt while climbing and descending. It didn't seem to shake much at all.

Thanks guys! I was real happy with the flight. It just felt real solid. I didn't see any vibes during climb outs nor descents.

Is modification on the cards to get the FPV cam out of the mobius shot?
I would be tempted to put a longer arm up front to get the props out of shot too, but that's just me.

Yes, I think I'm going to try to lower the FPV camera. Doing that should get it out of the Mobius shot. As for the props...that's not really important to me to have them out of the way.

But...I sure am happy with how the quad flew today. It felt very smooth and solid. I was even very impressed with how it descends....little to no vibrations nor oscillations. I am quite pleased!

As for the landings....that is going to take some practice because I find it difficult to determine where the ground actually is. Will I ever get a "smooth" landing? I'm going to work on it, lol.

Thanks Kev! The flight really was nice and fun! I've done very little adjusting to the PID's and this was the flight that I got. WOW! I was impressed! Then I was disappointed because I only took one battery with me, lol. I won't make that mistake again, lol.
