Here it is....the maiden flight of my attempt at a scratch built Twisted Hobbies "Turbo Crack Beaver". It did fly...not gracefully, but it did fly. It did come down hard but it also survived and we'll see this plane back after some adjustments have been made.

Yep...tons of power. Just need to add some more expo, reinforce the landing gear, and resecure motor mount.

Oddly enough, i wasn't scared about the flight. I was more scared about the landing. I was afraid that I it would come down very hard and I wouldn't get another go at it. But...the damage was very minimal, so we will see this plane again soon.

Did you have plans to work from?

It was an experience, Lee lol. No plans. Cameron did send me a list of dimensions to work with. The rest of the build was guess-timated from online pics and vids. The damage was minimal. This plane will be back.

it looks like the Crack Beaver. The plane did fly. It just needs some adjusting, lol. I hope Cameron sees this.

I am sure he will Derek if not I will tell him tomorrow:)

I saw it Derek! Very impressive! To get it to that stage having built it from scratch is beyond my comprehension! lol.
I really like this plane and even if I don't get mine flying properly Ill enjoy watching yours fly!

Thanks Cameron! I was happy to get it off the ground and I was happy to see it to the ground with minor damage. I'll work on it.

Maybe we need to get back to your thread and discuss what's going on with your plane. Maybe we can sort it out.
