Had the opportunity to fly my Assault 700 and Goblin 700 a couple of times this weekend here are some of the results:
Assault Flight 67 (22nd August 2015) - Not the greatest flying location, but sometimes you just have to deal with what's available.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om6pMAK1iLg
Goblin Flight 83 (23rd August 2015) - Again not the most amazing location but it works well:

Goblin Flight 84(23rd August 2015) - Sames comment as for the above flight:

I do apologies for some parts in the various flights where I fly so far away it gets a little hard to see on camera.

Thank you !!!

When I was learning them, I would make a half piro into a stable hover, then turn the heli another 180º to nose in.
I got use to that, then slowly incorporate the last 180º to nose in, while making the flip.

Cheers I will try that when I feel up to practicing the full piro

Nice looking flights. Just wish you didn't have a fisheye lense on that camera. Hard to see the heli when you're more than 20 ft away.

I agree Paul, that's what I don't like about the GoPro cameras. It's cool if your part of the action but when your flying the fisheye just takes away from it all. Be nice if they would give you lens options for us fly guys.

I know right. It is honestly a pretty great heli for just messing around with!

Thank you !! Haha my apologies for that. Unfortunately I only have the gopro and a mobius camera which both have fish eye wide lenses on them. I may try changing some resolution settings on the gopro to see if that will help.

I agree with you guys. Pretty sure you do get aftermarket lenses like that but it does requires you the disassemble and void the warranty of the camera. Not particularly interested in doing that haha but like I said i try messing about with some of the settings to see if I can minimize the fish eye effect. I could even zoom in, in post production but the quality will take a hit.

I use a gopro on my flight vids and never have fish eye to that extent. I usually use a narrow field of view mode though. I also zoom in during editing to effectively crop a 1080p frame down to a 720p frame.

Yeah see the reason mine is that crazy fish eyed is because I am recording at 2.7k on mine. I will switch to 1080p 60fps for this weekends' flying and we will see how it looks.

No flight videos yet as the weather this morning is very unpredictable; wind gusts, rainy then sunny again. Hopefully get a couple of flights in the afternoon but in the mean time I decided to take a couple of pictures of my heli fleet:
