I was bored the other day and decided to take the 500 out for a flight around our area. Nothing fancy but had fun doing it

Well having a lot of FPV parts for micro quads Laying around.I decided, for the fun of it, I attach a FPV camera system to the skids of my 500. Shaky in the beginning but once I switch to stunt 2 the view seem less shaky. I just used my FPV goggles to record. I flew LOS

Before I take the FPV gear off the 500, I wanted to record one more flight. Here the FPV equipment under the 500 looks like

Howdie all. I haven't flown my 450 scale heli in awhile. I took her out this evening for a few flights just to get her out of the house

I should of waited til it got darker out so the lights would shown up brighter

Hey there. I decided to take my Shuriken 180Pro for an evening flight viewing our holiday lights. The video quality in the built in DVR goggles isn't the greatest but I'm working on getting new ones

Hey there. With the help from Derek, I got my modes all set up the right way

. I finally had the chance to do a flip with my Shuriken180 Pro. My first attempt well you can say that WWE has nothing on me when it comes to pile driving the quad into the ground

After realizing what I did wrong, here's my 2nd attempt at doing flips. I wasn't to smooth but that will come in time. I had a blast and can't wait til I try to do rolls. Finally if I grow some hair around my b_ _ _ s, I'll attempt to to do some flips and rolls with my goggles on

Pretty nerve wracking the first few huh.

Are you flying Horizon mode?
A little blip of the throttle before you do your flips and rolls so that you have some upward momentum and then back it off a lot while you are upside down then back on to regain the hover will all help.
That way you don't lose so much altitude.
I know its a lot to coordinate but you will get it.
I find flips and rolls much easier to do with the goggles on.
Rolls are easier as you can maintain your sight on the horizon.
Obviously start your practice with plenty of height to spare.

The weather been in the low eighty. Took a break from the quads and took the Gaui X3 for a few flights in the back before the cold front comes in tomorrow. The first this year Burr

After watching a video that Derek, Thanks, turn me on to, I went ahead and gave flipping the quad another attempt

Right around 1:11 I had a close encounter with gravity and hit the ground

but manged to save it and kept on going

Nice Dog, you're getting the hang of it.

Getting back on the throttle a bit sooner and a bit harder will stop you losing so much altitude.

Thanks Stambo. Between the advice you and Derek gave me I'm starting to get the hang of it slowly. I just realize the difference between 2 bladed prop and 3 bladed prop during this flight. This flight was with the 2 bladed prop because I had no more 3 bladed prop. There on the way. The 3 blade prop seem to me anyway quicker response when I throttle up vs the 2 bladed prop. Is this right or just my imagination? Til my 3 bladed props come in I'll keep practicing with the 2 bladed ons's.
