450 Flamewheel Clone with Inav

This wasn't the maiden flight but it was just a short flight to see how the quad was behaving. This quad is for my Dad and I think he is quite happy with the results that we have this far.

Here is the second video. We were testing Position Hold, Altitude Hold, and Return to Home. I've only ever flown a quad with RTH once, but that was a Mavic (my friends Mavic). I was quite nervous to enable these new flight modes but everything went to plan and I was relieved, excited, and more.

The third flight was a football drop. Dad has a small Nerf football with a string and a very simple loop-hook that attaches to a servo on the underside of the frame. It's quite a simple design but it was very effective.

The fourth flight of the Inav 450 quad was dropping a 12" paratrooper with a 36" parachute. Next time, I'll go higher, lol

There are a few things that we'd like to adjust and I'm working on that but this quad has been in the air 7 or 8 times and each time was awesome! I'll see about getting a build list together and I'll do an overview video soon. Dad is quite happy with the quad. I bought a brand new Taranis QX7 and X8R for this build for Dad. This is gonna be a lot of fun!!! All these flights were on 10" APC Multirotor props. We also have some 11" props to test.
Enjoy the videos! More to come! Hopefully my Dad will get on here and leave a few of his own comments and thoughts.
I love you, Dad!!!
