Thanks Graham! It was flying so well, I figured it would roll easy enough and it did. The 14" props sounded amazing from the ground. Now, I think I need to hunt down some higher quality props. Maybe that will help eliminate some of that camera jello.

What amazes me the most is that this 570mm frame was flying on stock PID's. I've done zero tuning.

Camera Jello is normally badly balanced props:)

I'll see if my local hobby shop has a better prop balancer than mine.

Sweet Derek. Glad to see the beast in the air. Yes she does have a unique but authority sound to her. Good luck with future flights Derek. Got to be loving her!

Hi Derek, i thought this was a frame you had made? I googled Hildabeast and did not realise you can buy the frame, quite expensive?

Yes, I bought this frame from Almondracing.com. Also yes, it is rather expensive.

It was suggested to me, but a few people on Facebook, to make sure my 14" props are well balanced. I've made up a crude prop balancer but it did show me that each of the 4 props were ever so slightly heavy on one side. I used a 1" strip of clear Scotch Tape and placed it on various spots, on the leading edge of each prop, until each prop seemed to balance better at various positions. So, hopefully I can take the Hildabeast out tomorrow (if this damn rain will let up) and run a smoother flight.
