This is what came of my thread If I only had a frame
I got the frame in Yesterday . I put all together last night and then manged to whip everything off the CC3D when I went to set it up
So been fighting with it to get the firm ware loaded back on it . got it fixed now but the wind is blowing like crazy so most I can do is hover it in the garage were there is no room at all

Ok I have hovered it in the house and it has the shakes from side to side
what should I start with

Probs not a good idea in the house Jesse, it's own down draught will be causing a lot of that... I flew mine in the house once and it was a pain hovering but when I got it in the garden it was fine....I've just tested my quad today after putting naze32 on with CF 1.8 and if you look at my vid it's super stable. I've never changed any PID sertings....

try lowering the roll p gain that should help.

I didnt like the peg legs it had for landing gear so I found some old stuff and made some new landing gear for it

These are off a old double horse coax Heli
then I used some 4mm rod from a broken tail strut for the cross peaces

Wind chilled out for a bit got to take it outside and maiden it
I changed out the flight settings I had it on when I hovered it yesterday Had it on the QAV250 and it had the shakes
I loaded the HK250 in to it and its way good now
I did get the wife to VIDEO it. Now I got to load it on my laptop and see what it looks like.
Also ordered me some LED lights to stick on it to help see what way its going

That looks to be flying very nicely, the LEDs will make LOS flight much easier.
You cannot get the full enjoyment these are capable of providing until you fly them FPV.
And off course you NEED an on board recording cam also, may I suggest the mobius.

Thats to come later for now just trying to see if i like flying quads
No sense in dumping a bunch of money in to it thats why iwent the cheap rout for now
I also have a onboard cam on the way . I want a mobius but that will have to wait

Not on a mini quad, live video from the mobius has lag.
Not much, 150 to 200ms, but its there.
Fine for flying a plane nice and high, relaxed, just cruising.
I use mine on my AXN.
When you get to a mini quad and start throwing it around through trees, or speeding along at 60+ kmh, 200ms is over 3 metres. (10 feet)
You've hit that tree before you even realise it's there.

Not the best out there obviously but something to start with, and a second pair of goggles for passengers once you get hooked and buy good ones.
