It was a bit windy today, at first, but then the wind really started to pick up. I had some fun with the helicopter but it was a short flight.

Short but sweet dude.
The conversation at the start was funny. My mother has filmed some of my flights and she used to say she just followed the sound rather than being able to see the heli through the view finder. lol
She still managed to record the flights very well, lol

Thanks Cameron! It was a fun flight! The 450 was getting pushed around quite a bit but I managed a good flight and smiles at the end. Yes, the conversation, between my Dad and I, was rather funny. I was going to edit that out but I decided to leave it. It's good humor! I was happy with my Dad's efforts to run the videocam for me. He did a great job!!!

Good flying there Derek. I agree with Cameron about the conversation part with your dad makes it real, priceless. Glad to see that you had the chance to burn up some flight packs. Looks like I'll be grounded all week due to high winds and heavy rain coming off the Gulf. Good time to go over the birds and get them ready for there next flight, hopefully for the weekend. Keep the videos coming.

Nice flying D. Why did the tail shake just prior to lift off, I would have crapped myself...lmao...

I think the tail shook like that, on lift off, because I popped out off the ground before the head speed built up. Because of the lack of head speed, there was a lack of tail rotor speed, therefore a lack of tail authority and the girl was trying to compensate. Once the head speed did build up enough, everything smoothed out. It's pretty common with my 450. I've got plans of building a landing pad....I just haven't done it yet lol.
