Lol, faster, lower, closer, oops too close. :)
Been there, done that, still do it on a regular basis. :)
I love how cheap and easy these are to fix compared to a heli.

Thats what I love too, fly hard, crash hard. The little things just crave to be thrashed about.

I'm going out for a few packs later. Video to follow.

It got the old adrenaline going Tony.

There tail is a bit wobbly at speed it FF but it a work in progress I've only flown it in high winds before today and it was perfectly still.

It certainly looks super stable, videos are spot on now and can't really notice any shaking or wobbling...

I see what you mean now by getting things spot on with PID's.

I'm very happy with the roll axis, to me the pitch axis seems a little soft. And the yaw ok ok until it gets some speed
I've not really done a lot of tuning yet other than LOS.

I've had an oops today. I've started to get the tail dialed in, great on assent and high speed ff, I came to test decent and dropped the throttle too much and put it in.

I've had some damage this time. Smashed a nylon standoff, torn a dampener and snapped an arm.

The waiting game for parts begins

Unlucky Dan:) But given the flights you have and speeds you are doing :) Loving your progress you were a good pilot on your 550 videos, and your rapid progress on the quad is great also:)

That's a bummer Dan, I was enjoying your vids and seeing the progress you were making. I guess with all the flights you have done and near misses and hits you haven't done too bad with damages. Shame about the arm though. Will you have to get that from France..?

Haha I just love it graham, i get such and adrenalin rush.

Im not really that bothered about the broken arm its going to happen sooner or later.

The parts for the repair are as follow

2 x Arms
8 X dampeners
8 X standoffs

€77/$82/£56 posted. I think for all the fun ive had with this machine that thats pretty good value for money.

Like ive said already i love it.
