Most of my planes run on HK motors, esc's, and servo's, lol. I've got about 30 purchases with HK and the only 'one' bad part I've ever had was an $8.00 Corona servo.

Thanks for the tip on the covering film at HK, Gerald! I see that the East Warehouse has a vast supply, as well as the West warehouse. I'll have to see about ordering some of the covering for my large 3D plane. I was originally going to just leave the plane "natural" but, after some further thought, I've decided that it really needs some color, lol.

Well this being my first balsa kit I did not know what to expect, I am happy with the kit with the exception of the instructions, details are sparse at best with chinglish comments like " assemble as show in picture". I was short a couple pieces of balsa to finish the top of the wings where they meet but managed to piece it together with thicker left overs and sand them down. There is no retainers to hold the rear landing gear in, so I'll be rigging that. But still I must say it is not to bad for 30 bucks.

Derek I guess I could have smiled but it ain't done yet! When I taxi out onto the run way and lift off then I'll be smiling!

You may have noticed the battery in the electronic compartment, it's the Rx battery and of course I have to keep an eye on the charge level.

The fuselage is ready for covering now next time I post it will look like a ready to fly unit instead of a skeleton. I hope!
